Central Province - June 5 to 16, 2015
Thank you to our guests and crew for another wonderful trip on board the Solomon Star! We had a full boat with 10 guests representing France, Canada and Australia. Some of the group had traveled to Solomon's before and for others it was a brand new experience - but for everyone on board it was a trip of a lifetime!
We dove our favourite sites, of course. But the highlights this trip happened on our exploratory dives where we had the pleasure of naming some new sites including Swollen Nudi Wall. You can imagine why! This trip was full of macro life (not a surprise when the boat is full of instructors, dive guides and overall great divers) and we spent lots of time checking out the small stuff.
We again had some wonderful village visits and two of our guests, Kim and Lori, set a particularly great example of responsible travel as we interacted with the local Solomon Island people. We will be posting soon about our support of a new literacy program in Solomon Islands and our partnership with Pack for a Purpose.
A special thanks goes out to all of our photographer guests. Thank you for some amazing shots!
