For some, weekends consist of decompressing in front of the television and sitting at home. For others, it means doing 8 dives in two days while sailing through the picturesque Florida Islands on the Solomon Star. Escaping from the hustle and bustle of Honiara we set sail Friday evening and awoke to a stunning tropical scene straight out of a magazine. Right off the bat, Maravagi’s calm, clear waters provided cuttlefish, baitballs and stunning coral gardens – no better way to start a Saturday morning in my opinion! Each and every dive provided something unique and special to look at, and the enthusiasm of our novice divers was contagious – nothing underwater was overlooked. The phrase “that was the biggest sea fan I have ever seen!”  was said by everyone at least once. A big congratulations to Marianne for completing her Enriched Air Diver course onboard, she passed even the sneakiest of Adam’s tests! We love our weekend local’s trips and cannot wait to have everyone back onboard to explore more of area’s fantastic diving and to hear more of your hilarious stories.
